Winners of Google Play Best Android Apps Awards 2019

Best Applications

1] Best App of 2019 – Ablo

Ablo is an app where you can connect new people just like you do on any other social media.

However, the highlight is that it can translate messages from your language to the recipient’s language in real-time.

Moreover, when you video-call your virtual friend, subtitles are present in real-time for their native languages.

Basically, Ablo App removes the language barrier between the two people.

Other than that, it is your regular messaging application with free calling, video calling, and texting features.

This seems to be a great app if you want to interconnect with the people around the globe. Check it out.

2] Users’ Choice App of 2019 – Spotify

I have been using Spotify for the past few months and it is simply unbeatable when it comes to music recommendations.

Best Android Apps 2019

Other than YouTube, I strongly recommend you to try Spotify.

I never looked back to Jio-Saavn afterward. Lesser ads, more relevant recommendations for my taste. What else do I need?

But wait! This is not the highlight.

Podcasts! Yes, I have exclusively installed Spotify for Podcasts.

I never realized how I spend 4-5 hours of my day with a fully productive time ~ thanks to Spotify Podcasts 🙂

For me, Spotify naturally tops Best Android Apps!

Which music streaming application do you use? If confused, I have already written a dedicated post. Check it out:

Test all of them and decide!

3] Best Everyday Essentials of 2019 – Boosted

Boosted App is a productivity app that works as a time tracker.

People have different methods to set and track their goals.

Google Keep is a very good option if you ask me for a daily task manager. But I prefer to use my traditional pocket diary that requires pen and paper.

However, Boosted App is an extension and an advanced version of Google Keep.

You can organize your tasks into smaller parts and tick them off as you complete them.

Boosted App also provides you with all the stats about your time utilization, time taken for a particular project, etc.

4] Best Personal Growth Apps of 2019 – Meesho

Meesho is an app that claims to make money for you while you sit at home.

Although I am against such apps that involve spamming since Google decided to reward this app, let’s talk about it.

What do you need to do?

Register with your contact number and browse through the products that it offers. The products include jewelry, clothing, beauty products, etc.

Share those products on your Whatsapp and Facebook.

If someone orders from your link, you will be paid a commission.

This comes under Affiliate Marketing and I am not against such earnings. In fact, it’s a great way to earn.

But people spam!

5] Best Hidden Gems of 2019 – Appy Weather

Appy Weather is another weather app that tells you about the climate, temperature, predictions, etc.

Best Android Apps 2019

If you are an Android user then you must be already having an AccuWeather App on your smartphone.

But if you want some more features, personal touch while looking at the weather forecast then Appy Weather can be a good option for you.

I liked the user interface of this application. It’s simple and looks good.

6] Best For Fun App of 2019 – Ablo

Refer Point number 1 🙂

Ablo might not be the part of Best Android Apps according to many people but it surely seems to be the Best Fun App of 2019!

Best Games

1] Best Game of 2019 – Call of Duty Mobile

Was there any doubt about this? 😉

Best Game of 2018 was awarded to PUBG Mobile so it was necessary for CODM to win this award in 2019. And it did!

With 50 million downloads within a few months on Android, Call of Duty Mobile is already thriving on the Playstore.

Also, I have written a dedicated blog post on PUBGM vs CODM. Check it out. Here is the link:

2] Users’ Choice Game of 2019 – Call of Duty Mobile

Again 🙂

3] Best Competitive Game of 2019 – Brawl Stars

Brawl Stars is an action game by the developers of Clash of Clans, Clash Royale and even Beach Boom.

Meanwhile, this is another battle royale game where you can team up with your friends or fight alone to win the game.

You can also collect various skins, coins, and other rewards while playing this game.

Similar to PUBG Mobile, you have multiple maps and modes to fight your enemies and survive till the end.

If you are bored of playing the same popular and over-crowded games then you can definitely try this out. It seems fun!

4] Best Indie Games of 2019 – #DRIVE

For those who don’t know what Indie games means, here is a quick explanation for you.

Usually, the games are made in huge teams and companies.

But indie games are made by individuals or a team of 2-3 people.

Indie Games might not be that efficient but the developers definitely deserve a round of applause for managing everything on their own.

#DRIVE is a game where you keep on driving your car endlessly just like you did in some old games. There is no end.

If you are a casual gamer who likes playing games to pass some time or to relax then this game would be a great option for you.

5] Best Casual Games of 2019 – 1945

Do you remember the games that you used to play in the late 2000s?

So, there is an airplane (or a tank?) that you move with your mouse pointer and it keeps on firing automatically.

The main aim is to damage the computer opponents and improve your score.

That’s it. It pretty much matches its game name – 1945!

In short, if you are a casual gamer who is looking for some time passing game then this is another choice.

6] Best Innovative Game of 2019 – Alt-Frequencies

Alt-Frequencies is indeed a very unique thriller game but it is not a free game. It is a game that costs Rs 430 for now.

This puzzle game has a radio that asks you to listen to some clips repetitively because they have clues.

You need to collect multiple clues, come up with a conclusion and investigate the exact matter.

This is a very solid concept and an innovative idea in the puzzle gaming industry. This game is obviously not meant for everyone.
